"Primary branching from the nodes in whorls of 6, arising at an angle of 70°. The polyps are almost perpendicular, only at the branch tips oblique, 2 mm long and completely armored with spindles, the spines are dense and regular and eight of which can protrude septally. In addition, you will find 0.2 mm long, flattened, thorny rods and clubs with rounded ends."
