SUMMARY
"Main axis monopodial, spiraling upward, with undividedbranches emanating from one side of axis. Polyps short,when sexually mature with base expanded along upperside of branch. Sclerites rods, spindles, or scales, arrangedvertically, extending in tracts onto tentacles. Branchcoenenchyme with sclerites oriented along branch orwithout sclerites between polyps." Watling, 2007
